We are now entering the final stages of migrating the site over to the new theme. Due to this, some pages will look funny from now on because of the different formatting between the themes. We have chosen to do this migration with the site still open to minimize visitor loss. But remember, the site will close on September 10 for all the final work.

Many links on the pages will not work, and if you use the navigation bar on any page besides the homepage, you will not be taken to the new pages, instead you will be taken to the old HTML pages. Please bear with us during this period.

Well yesterday, we finally reached the 10 000 visitors total. We are so happy that our site is becoming a respectable part of the community and hopefully we will be her for years to come.

Updates will be slow from now on, as i am now relying on Simillion to update and he has more important things to do. The lack of updated from me in the result of me putting all of my efforts into the new site version, V4, that is due on 20th September.

Speaking of the nee theme, it is nearly done. Some of the new features include a brand new showcase that becomes a tool to not only help you navigate the site, but shows you info about relevant subjects as well.

I am looking forward to seeing you all on the release of V4. The final day before the site will go down for maintenance is September 10.

Today i put the site into maintenance mode to apply the new game pages. Only The Sims 3 Base Game and Late Night are online at the moment, but more will be added all the time.

So check them out!

Last month’s poll asked the question; What do you like most about the new SimlishSims? The winning option being the new theme. 19 people voted.

The new poll question is; “What do you think about “The Sims Style”? Please answer accordingly.

The other admin of this site, Nick, enabled a new feature so that users could register and log on. Whilst this is a good feature, the forum is deserted. So, to kill two birds with one stone, i have created a login form (in the sidebar) that allows you to log into the forum from the homepage. You can even register from the widget.

The forum will be tweaked in the near future to add a navigation bar and such, so register and get exclusive access to members only goodies!

Our new creator, Ryan220 has come up with a set of iPad wallpapers themed on The Sims 3. Check them out below, and Download them here.

A new face has now officially joined us here at SimlishSims in the form of a photoshop guru, Ryan220. Have a look at his first wallpaper and you will know what i mean. We are extremely lucky to have Ryan here creating for us. Expect to see some great wallpapers apearing!

With the recently passed 5000 visitors mark, a new era for Simlishsims began. So, in celebration, i wish to unveil ‘SimlishSims Extra’. This new service will ultimately be a game encyclopedia and downloads section.

Game Encyclopedia; Starting with just the Sims 3 games, the game encyclopedia strives to be, well, an encyclopedia of all the Sims games. From Sim Ant to SimCity, The Sims Superstar to the Sims 3 Ambitions, all with detailed game summaries, screenshots and videos.

SimlishSims DLS; The Simlishsims Download Section will host many different types of items for your games, your desktop, and your device. From iPad wallpapers to Sims, Lots to Worlds. Featuring highly detailed and user friendly items, hand crafted by our team.

Along with the items listed above, SimlishSims Extra will also host a few ‘Surprises’.

Today marks the day that SimlishSims reaches 5000 unique visits. Wasn’t it only a 2 weeks ago that we were celebrating 4000? Here at SimlishSims, we have all had a brilliant time and thank all our visitors for returning and supporting the site. We are happy to tell you that there are loads of new features on the way, including design changes, more news, more wallpapers and even more pages. Well, this has come around quick! wasn’t it only 2 weeks ago we were celebrating 3000 visitors? Anyway the site has officially reached 4000 unique visitors! We are looking forward to the major milestone of 5000 visitors! I think i might need to create some more wallpapers!
